What is it you love most about clay? This class will revisit basic skills while identifying what it is that makes clay your passion. For first timers a chance to learn new skills and to explore endless possibilities.

Emily will be choosing a theme with the class and demonstrating how she would go about developing it into a series/body of work. She will be using a variety of techniques and will record these in a workbook. Each person will work on their own individual projects but be encouraged to develop their own series of work.

Clay of your choosing, earthenware or white (midfire). Students will need to source their own.
For clay suppliers in the area click here.

Cost: $100 for full members and $140 for non-members. Includes all firings.
The class is followed by an optional pot-luck lunch.
